On Monday last Kilmeena Minor Boys overcame Achill in a game that was much tighter than the scoreline would suggest. Achill started the stronger but two goals in the opening half left Kilmeena in front by five points at half time. On Sunday 23rd August, The Sam Maguire Cup made its way to Kilmeena, accompanied by our very own Jack Carney and Castlebar Mitchels' Paddy Durcan.
