Kilmeena's  Feile weekend kicked off this evening in Swinford!
Our first game was against St Colums of Cork . We had a disastrous start to the game and were 2-1 to no score down after 3 minutes!

On Saturday evening we will host a social event at Gracy's Bar and Restaurant in Westport House for the Children and families of both Kilmeena & St Ergnats teams. This promises to be a great night and we would encourage all to attend. We plan to watch the Mayo Match from 7pm on the TV's at Gracy's and then there will be a BBQ served followed by short presentations. All club members are welcome to attend.

Kilmeena GAA are taking part in the Féile football competition(u14 boys) on the weekend of Friday 28th to Sunday 30th June.

Kilmeena will be participating in Division 5. We will be hosting the club St Ergnats from Moneyglass, Co Antrim. The other teams in our four team group (group C) will be Swinford, Co Mayo and St Colums from Kealkil, Co Cork.

Kilmeena u14 boys commenced their championship campaign at home to Kiltimagh. The game was played on a wet evening which led to many handling errors. Despite the away side dominating possession in the first half, Kilmeena managed to go in-front at the sound of the halftime whistle thanks to some well worked team scores. Our u14 boys play Claremorris  at home at 7pm on Thursday (2/5/19). After a good win away last week against Parke, it would be nice to finish the league (Division 1) with a good performance and hopefully a positive result too ! All support greatly appreciated.

Kilmeena U14 Boys played Ballina at home on Thursday on a nice evening in the Division 1 League.
We lined out below full strength due to a few absences due to sickness. The annual Kilmeena GAA Dinner Dance takes place on Saturday, February 9th 2019. This is always a great fun-filled night and we encourage all members of the club to attend. It's a great opportunity to meet up and get to know your fellow club members. We look forward to seeing you!

The Kilmeena Bord na nOg presentations took place this afternoon in the Castlecourt Hotel Westport. The Underage teams from U-6/8's up to U-16's in both boys and girls were presented with Medals, Trophy's and Cups won during the year. Full report to follow shortly with details of all the recipients of the various awards today.
