Kilmeena U13s travelled to Aghamore last Thursday evening, June 10th, for their opening league game of the season. It turned out to be a one-sided affair with Aghamore dominating play from the start and establishing an insurmountable lead. It took the final quarter for our boys to eventually settle down, outpointing the opposition to regain some pride. While, on the face of it, it was a good beating, there were plenty of positives to be taken from the encounter with some good skills and teamwork displayed. We’ll take the lessons learnt from this game and be ready for our next outing against Shrule/Glencorrib in Kilmeena next Thursday.
