A semi final awaits Kilmeena as they overcame Parke in difficult playing conditions. The game started in Parke's favour finding the first score in a misty Tourmakeady. Kilmeena responded and with the first quarter over there was a point between them. Kilmeena finished the half strong through a John McGlynn goal. The first half concluded on a scoreline of 1 - 06 to 0 - 03 in favour of Kilmeena.
The men from the shores of Clew Bay started the second half like they finished the first but Parke fought to the end, hitting a purple patch coming down the home straight with a goal and three points to leave the minimun between the teams.
