A semi final awaits Kilmeena as they overcame Parke in difficult playing conditions. The game started in Parke's favour finding the first score in a misty Tourmakeady. Kilmeena responded and with the first quarter over there was a point between them. Kilmeena finished the half strong through a John McGlynn goal. The first half concluded on a scoreline of 1 - 06 to 0 - 03 in favour of Kilmeena.

The men from the shores of Clew Bay started the second half like they finished the first but Parke fought to the end, hitting a purple patch coming down the home straight with a goal and three points to leave the minimun between the teams. Darragh Keaveneys well executed free put two points between them again and saw Kilmeena through to the semi final on a scoreline of

Kilmeena 1 - 11

Parke 1 - 09
