U14 girls championship

Our U14 girls hosted neighbours Westport in their third championship outing and treated supporters to a fantastic evening of football. The match began as a tightly contested affair, with both sides showcasing skillful, challenge-free flowing football. As the game progressed into the second quarter, Kilmeena began to find their rhythm. Thanks to some superb passing and sharp scoring, our girls started to edge ahead and take control of the game. While Westport mounted several strong attacks and tested our defence on a few occasions, the Kilmeena girls held firm and maintained their composure. The final stages saw Kilmeena push on with determination, ultimately securing a well-deserved win. A special mention must go to our U12 superstars Amy and Eleanor who stepped up brilliantly and made a huge contribution to tonight’s performance.
