Our U13’s hosted a strong Davitts team this evening. Kilmeena girls got off to the strongest starts after some good linkage by our forwards resulting in two goals in quick succession. The first quater was a one way affair with our girls storming forward at every opportunity with a flurry of goals and points. The second quater saw our opponents try to work their way back into the game but it proved difficult when the attacks were met with Kilmeena’s solid defence. The final quater was saw Davits claw back the defecit by scoring 3 goals which added to the excitment of the closing minutes but credit must be given to our girls who dug deep showing great determination and resilence to secure the win.
