Kilmeena GAA had a presentation to all our cubs U5’s to U8’s. All the children received an
O’ Neills football and a cubs certificate each.
A great evening was had by all.
We would like to thank Westrock for sponsoring the footballs for each child. Go raibh míle to all the sponsors this year for making the Cubs Academy such a success in its first year.
Thank you to all coaches for their hard work during the year. Without you all this wouldn’t have been possible. We were also honored to have our Club President Austin Gibbons and also our hard working Chairman, John McDonald, with us for the presentation. We also had some special guests give out the gifts to our Cubs. We welcomed Eabha Carney, who played with Mayo Minors this year and our Senior club captain Sean Ryder. We wish them well for the remainder of their club championships.
Last but by no means least, we want to thank Siobhan Golden for bringing the coffee truck to Cubs Academy on a Thursday evening. It was much appreciated and went down a treat! Cubs will continue to run until the end of September.
