Kilmeena vs Swinford - Homeland Minor League Div 4

We played our second game of the Season away to Swinford on Thursday 1st April on a fabulous spring evening !

We were definitely the stronger team in the first half despite playing against the breeze and led 1-9 to 1-6 at the break.

We had a good start to the second half and increased our lead to five point before Swinford had their period of dominance in the final quarter.

An entertaining and competitive game ended level at 2-13 each. While disappointed not come away with a victory, despite having lead for most of the game , we could well have been defeated we're it not for the heroics of Louie in goal near the end.
