Kilmeena V Breaffy Kelly Cup 1st Round 2024-03-23

Kilmeena had their first outing as a Senior Club against Breaffy in the Kelly Cup competition following their promotion to the senior ranks after winning the County Intermediate title in 2023. While recording a loss by two points to the long-established Breaffy Senior Club, they can be justifiably proud of their individual and team performance. Even though both teams fielded well short of their regular players, it was an opportunity for the young cohort of players to display their football skills and lay down a marker for future selection in the forthcoming games in the Kelly Cup.
